About Lynn Maxfield
Lynn Maxfield, PhD, is the Director of the Utah Center for Vocology and Associate Professor at the University of Utah’s School of Music. He teaches graduate level voice pedagogy courses and voice lessons, and directs the Summer Vocology Institute. Dr. Maxfield also coaches vocalists at the University of Utah Voice Disorders Center, working with the medical speech team to help professional voice users return to full vocal activities. He researches the acoustics and biomechanics of voice production, habilitative approaches to voice training, and the intersection of art and health.
